so i have oily fingers and my phone loses that rubbery grip that it used to have when i bought it when it gets coated in my finger oil - happens to all my stuff, like my keyboards, etc.

can i just use rubbing alcohol to clean it without a problem?

sites say i should take it apart before using the alcohol - i don't really want to mess with it like that. should i be ok if i don't?

Probably.

Although if it's just oil plain soap and water might do.
