This is a GA-945P - DS3 with E6400
Quote : | " Set CPU Host Clock Control to Enabled - Set CPU Host Frequency (MHz) to 376 - Set PCI Express Frequency(MHz) to 100 - Set System Memory Multiplier to 2.00 - Set DRAM Timing Selectable to Manual - Set CAS Latency Time to 5 - Set DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay to 5 - Set DRAM RAS# Precharge to 5 - Set Precharge dealy (tRAS) to 12 Most RAM will actually work at 4-4-4-12 but this is a guide for lazy people so I figured I'd go with 5-5-5-12 since it's bound to work.
8. Fit F10 on the keyboard and respond "Y" to whether you wish to change your settings and exit.
Congratulations, your E6400 2.13GHz is now running at 3GHz (and your DDR2-667 running at 752MHz). " |
These settings used to work perfectly and they're showing correct values under MIT 3.0GHz/800MHz or 3.2/1GHz but whenever I save and post, it still shows 237@8 or whatever 2.13GHz is. Could installing 2k8 x64 server caused this? I tried disabling virtualization in case that would be it, but same problem10/7/2008 12:47:35 AM |

^^aka "I have no idea"
Nah seriously, that's not the case. 3GHz isn't shit, I went months without ever bumping it up and I have this massive scythe hs/f.
^no warnings.

if it's a bios issue, try reflashing it 10/7/2008 8:41:34 PM |

Hmm for some reason it said F130 instead of F13 for bios version. I reflashed and it didn't help, but then I cut power and gave it a hard reset and it appears to have booted up at 3.2GHz.
