Navigation device comes with suction cup and car charger. Works fine, does "need" updated maps. Looking to get $100, might consider $75.

go to http://www.dealcatcher.com and look it up. they circuit city and tiger direct are selling this refurbed for $99.99. I think $75-100 is certainly fair.

"Talk about simple. The StreetPilot c330 and its counterpart, c340 with optional traffic alerts, come preprogrammed with detailed street maps. Whether you choose these preloaded navigators or the c320 or c310 with SD card, their intuitive touch screen operation and big displays make them easy to use.
Navigate With Ease

StreetPilot c330 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator® NT street maps, including a hefty points of interest (POIs) database with motels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. Simply touch the sunlight-readable color screen to enter a destination, and the c330 takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. In addition, the c330 accepts custom points of interest (POIs) such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. Traveling abroad? The c330 comes with an SD card slot, making it convenient to add optional maps.
Take It With You

The portable c330 easily moves from vehicle to vehicle. Its suction cup windshield mount is a snap to install. The c330 also comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for out-of-car route planning."

anyone ever pirate any maps for this thing?

it seems stupid to pay another $60-70 for current maps when for ~$170 I can get a nicer and more up to date (but still discontinued) Garmin product like the nuvi 650

especially considering the known battery problem with the C330... but the price is really intriguing and the fact that it comes standard with a windshield mount and car charger

if I could update the software for free I would be all about this thing

^as we speak

Pick up a 2GB SD card ~$10 and you should be good to go. Hell, I can load a card for you while I'm on a kick to update my buddy's C330 if you want. Shoot me PM

it's easy to pirate maps. just download them from a torrent site and follow the instructions. it's not as easy as a cd, but it isn't bad.

The maps seem like such a scam. Imagine if Windows charged you for updates or PC companies charged for BIOS flashes? Do any of the major vendors offer free updates?

I think you usually get 1 free update if you buy the GPS and it doesn't have the most current map.

This is true, but only for new units. At least from Garmin thats the way it is. There was a big shitfit a few years ago from people buying nuvi's just before a new map release and having to pay for it.
