No, starting a war on false pretenses is treason. What Obama did was help provide the checks and balances to an out of control, lame-duck executive. The President negotiates the treaties, Congress ratifies them.

Let's also ignore the whole Iran-Contra affair, where Bush's father and Reagan negotiated secretly with the Ayatollah's regime to keep the American hostages from the embassy imprisoned until after the 1980 election so Carter would look bad. Not to mention the whole illegally selling arms to Iran to fund coke smuggling terrorists in Nicaragua thing. That's not treason because it doesn't suit your ideology, right?
