maybe in some cases--hell I've been paid at a clinical trial to take experimental drugs (they were just generic version of already safe drugs so it wasnt a big deal) but for stuff like this there's no reason they have to make it free or pay you. i'm not sure what he's taking is still even classified as experimental, i remember hearing a lot of AIDS drugs were rushed through the approval process bc of how much promise they showed a few years ago.. i highly doubt any of those are free

Those DJs are just retarded, he isn't "cured" of HIV. He never had AIDS so how could he have faked having something that he never had? With the right drugs and health care, when HIV is caught early enough people can live indefinitely.

There's a lot of people who've lived over 20 years after being diagnosed, especially if they caught the disease early and got on medication. Magic Johnson was diagnosed in the early 90s, about five years before protease inhibitors came on the market, but chances are he had access to that treatment when it was still deemed "experimental".
