my guess is that only people out of college are actually putting together a mancave - furthermore who needs a mancave that doesn't live with their significant other - your whole place is your mancave then

my mancave room is just my office because i work from home a lot but i mostly end up on the couch downstairs working so maybe at some point i'll convert it - i've run out of room in the garage for my stuff so maybe i can make a case to my wife (or she'll read this and case made )

one of my neighbors has a pretty kick ass mancave room - lcd / wrap around leather couch / painted dark color (the rest of his house is this gay carolina blue - i blame his wife) / it's really only missing a fridge but we end up taking a few coolers up there typically - unfortunately we don't hang out in it enough

A friend of mine is in the process of building one in his house in Oxford. It's a huge old house and they turned a former dining room into the kitchen, so the (big) old kitchen on the back of the first floor is being made over into the "man room". He's building a custom poker table for it, using the old water hookups to put in a wet bar with a couple of under-counter minifridges for beer/refrigerated goods storage, and I believe is going with an HD projector with pull-down screen for entertainment. Assuming he pairs the projector with a nice receiver/audio system and pays some attention to the way the room looks, should be kickass when it's done.

Mine is referred to as my office, because thats how I have it set up. It is one of the spare bedrooms (got 4 for the two of us) and my wife has her own "office" (weak) too. Honestly we also have a big ass bonus room that would make a sweet one, plumbed for wet bar, perfect layout for a few arcade games, nice wall area for big screen, etc. Maybe down the road I will do something like that but for now that room is spare parts storage.

Authorities said Monday they fear the two parks have become known, “by word of mouth,” as places for such illegal activity. Those arrested in the recent sting live in various areas of Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina. They range in age from 26 to 85. At least two of the men hold positions of trust within a community. Brent T. Leach, 52, of Johnson City, reportedly works as a teacher within the Johnson City school system while police said Robert E. Riley, 55, of Rogersville, is a pastor at a Rogersville church. Of the arrests, 31 were made at Winged Deer Park, while nine were made at Buffalo Mountain Park. Still, investigators said both facilities are equally infiltrated by the problem. In an effort to eliminate areas of opportunity within the parks, authorities said they plan to destroy the Man Cave at Winged Deer Park, possibly with a controlled burn. That comes as good news to Assistant City Manager Charlie Stahl, who complained about the inappropriate activity after witnessing it firsthand while on a tour of city parks in June. Stahl reportedly walked into a restroom at Winged Deer Park and saw two men “about to engage in sexual activity.” The men were removed from the park only moments before a child came to use the restroom. “I can only imagine if those two men were not removed, what that little boy would have seen,” Stahl said. “Our parks are for families. They’re not for this anti-social behavior. That is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.” Some of the men charged in last month’s investigation already have gone through the court system, while others still await hearings. According to officials, all of the cases will be “vigorously” prosecuted."
