I really need to pull this video of Bill Griffeth from the CNBC site.
It seems to be a .flv file, but I'm not really sure how to, or if it's possible to rip the video from the site and use it in a powerpoint presentation?
Ideally, I'd somehow be able to convert to a .wmv file..
Anyone have any ideas?

if it's just a flash video file, can't you just embed that in your PPT?
if not, you might look here for a converter: http://lifehacker.com/software/lifehacker-top-10/top-10-free-video-rippers-encoders-and-converters-316478.php 10/26/2008 11:21:48 AM |

Go to view source, and search for .flv to find the URL for the video. If you find it, make an HTML document on your computer in notepad with that link, and then drop it into your browser. Right click on link and save as. 10/26/2008 11:31:21 AM |

VLC plays FLVs
I don't recommend embedding shit in PowerPoints - it usually bombs 10/27/2008 4:04:09 AM |
