thats pretty expensive, though with gas prices what they are, i guess not too suprising.
I had a subaru forrester shipped from west texas to here like 5 years ago, it ran me 650 bucks. 10/27/2008 3:33:21 AM |

i was quoted $900 to ship a m3 enclosed from CA to NC, so there are better deals out there. 10/27/2008 2:08:10 PM |

^apples and oranges man. CA to NC = i40. Carriers charge based on distance from their main routes, more than actual distance.
Cost to ship my car to CA was ~1200. Cost to ship to WA was 2350. This was last winter. 10/27/2008 4:09:13 PM |

I know someone else that needs to do this-- TX to VA. When are you planning to go? 10/28/2008 12:17:03 AM |

well if all goes as planned... the shipping company i found said to give them like 7-10 window to pick the car up, and it'll be around $600 and change.
i forgot the name off hand.
but if you've got a decent window, it'll be cheaper. and if you're in a decent sized city too 10/28/2008 12:22:48 AM |
