It was cool when it came out like 10 years ago

but if you played it now it would probably be pretty underwhelming

^no. I remembered it coming out back in the late 90's, but I never got around to playing it. I was talking to a friend a few days ago who had played it back in the day and he said it was a pretty neat game. (one of my favorite FPS is Painkiller and that's 5 years old...). Most things today make 5+ year old games looks underwhelming

^I was agreeing. Kingpin came out in 1999. So it's like 9 years. I figured it would be a "simple" game, but even then, I just kinda wondered if the story or even the game itself was worth playing thru once...

And yeah, I have to keep reminding myself that the 90's was a decade ago. Time flies...


Speaking of which, are there any modern day mobster/gangster games out there?
