Even if the monthly payment was $743. After escrow, cable, internet, electricity, water & sewage. I'm sure he's paying over $1200 a month.

maybe if he takes an hour long shower each day, running a few mainframes and paying for business class cable internet...

The same site says my monthly payment is $923. That is about my morgage payment, but after escrow I'm actually paying $1283 a month. I don't know how much his cable bill or electricity bill is, but my electricity bill is about $150 a month and Cable is $150 including movie channels and internet.

my point still stands and i was just trying to help you out since it doesn't look like you're getting much of a response..

whether $600 is actually half or not really doesn't matter--the fact is the site puts that number in the face of anybody that looks at it does matter.

that is a bit high, especially if there is already a renter there.

oh I doubt that. escrow on a 135k house isn't very much, and utilities can't be much more than $300 a month unless he goes balls out on everything.

but in the end he can ask whatever he wants...i just doubt anyone will pay $600.
