I have 7 Mb service and I think the upload rate is only in the mid 300s so I wanted to know if anyone else used slingbox with Roadrunner and how the quality of playback was before I bought one.

mine is 7 mbps down and i think 386 kbps up do u think that is fast enough of an upstream? i just dont wanna buy it and have bad quality streaming

you will have bad quality. I have the original slingbox and it looks like ass 90% of the time. the other 10 it's diet ass

I have standard roadrunner which here in cary is still the 5mbps/312kbps and it is painful to watch on a big screen. However, a restored window (320x240) as well as watching on a my cell phone which is only a 2.8" screen is pretty darn good.

if i Up it to road runner turbo which si supposed to be 512 kbps up would that help a lot or is roadunner just bad period for slingbox?

yea i was looking to get the new HD one. even though it wont stream HD unless u have 1.5 mbps upload........
