awww come on, I worked really hard and I want someone to watch it
11/3/2008 3:07:47 AM
i watched it.not bad for still images, though the intro seemed really long to me and i was hoping for an action shot or two of the zombie taking down the photographer.
11/3/2008 3:12:41 AM
yeah the intro is unbelievably longand I was hoping for action too but I've gotta work with what I have right now I think I did pretty good considering I hadn't touched Photoshop or Premiere before this project[Edited on November 3, 2008 at 3:18 AM. Reason : -]

If you didn't have a say in what pictures were taken, then cool. But if you had any say in the direction of it, you could have had more action shots.
11/3/2008 3:24:29 AM
I did have a say in the directionhowever, it was a pain in the ass for me to get willing actors together at the same time - that's the best I could get from them... both of them were pissing and moaning about zombies being lame (well, mostly the zombie was bitching) - I should have made a samurai movie to get him to shut the fuck upI really want to do some good screen tests for zombie attacks... gonna need to learn some more makeup fx

I loved some of the of the groping shots right near the end. There was some suspense but it was totally ruined by the sound effects!

bump for harsher criticism I appreciate the input, thoughit helps me make a better one next time... this project I was like a highschool boy fumbling with a bra
11/3/2008 9:18:39 AM
why won't it play for me?

that was great and the sound effects gave me some chills.

I would watch, but I have delicate aesthetic sensibilities.
11/3/2008 9:28:45 AM
thanks!you're even more complimentary than my gf... thank you for making me feel goodseriously, you're good people
11/3/2008 9:28:46 AM
it.....was.....a.....little.....slow.....paced.....and I wanted more zombie action. that being said, not bad.
11/3/2008 9:35:38 AM
yeah I understand that it was at a snails paceI'm still learning pacing and all that... plus the faster it goes the more pictures it is gonna take and I suck at taking picturesI need to work with someone who has a good eye behind a lens but I had to do THIS thing myself... our next project is in a group and I'm teaming up with this 30 y/o Australian painter - she's got a great eye.I think I'd make a decent editor and I'm going to continue to work with sound

i was impressed that you got as much action as you did with just still shots.the loop on the zombie sounds made it so that i didn't get scared. that's saying alot, b/c i get scared at everything -- especially zombie related. not sure if it has to be a certain length for the project, but if not i would say that if you just cut out some of the intro and added some scary music on top of the zombie noises (and added some variety to the zombie noises) you'd have me scared.
11/3/2008 9:45:46 AM
dude, 3/4 of your video is your intro and credits...([old] news i know) the music and sound effects were good though
11/3/2008 9:55:44 AM
^^Yeah, the loop could possibly have been cut a little shorter with less images so that the final attack was more sudden, although I would keep the last 4 or 5 photos for sensuous effect.

Dude, that sounds fucking awesome! And you get college credit? Holy shitfuck!
