I bent a rim on my 95 leagacy. Its a steel rim 14" x 5.5 5 lug. the tire holds air, just wobbles pretty bad.

Can I get it straightened? By who?

Anyone have one or a set they want to part with?

any subarus at LKQ? Nines? I havent been junk buying lately.

i can get one off ebay for $75 if I have to but damn its just a steel rim.

just take a BFH to it since it's steel. unless you're concerned with what it looks like, but i doubt you are....

donut spare

I thought of the BFH but I dont know if i can get back right enough. I hope I didnt bend anything in the frontend, I will pull it off tomorrow and go to the spare, maybe it wont wobble. I didnt know murray had wheels.

you should be able to unless it's bent well into the face of the rim and not just the lip. i've beat some pretty terrible bends out of wheels that were damaged 4 wheeling.

ah, yeah with a blow like that i would just get a new rim. though, any shop that does wheels/tires can test the runout on it after you attempt straightening.

lay the rim flat on the ground, measure the backspacing on another rim, cut a 4x4 block that length, sit it under the center of the rim, and beat like hell till it touches all the way around, trust me it works

I think tire rack will sell you a new steel wheel for $45 or something like that.

Thanks for your offer, it was pretty fubar'd, not just the lip was bent. I got one from that salvage yard in durham on 70 and had the tire moved over. paying the stupid tax. it drives great with the spare so the rim was all I damaged.
