You wont see much till a few months into 09. Hopefully we'll have more civil liberties and less fear of our government. Hopefully squash the patriot act, cripple the TSA and put the hammer down on the CIA and FBI being complete cocks about everything. I worry about obama's leanings towards european political ideals, and how that may open doors to the kind of big brother world the UK is now living in, but i'll remain optimistic. Perhaps some sway might be held to lower prescription costs, unknown though, those lobbyists didn't have such a hard time in the democratic congress last time

Hopefully human life won't be worth much less with such a powerful move towards a more socialist nature. Taxes shmaxes. unfortunately, all the programs he intends to start to help the less fortunate will drain our coffers quickly, but not into the pockets of those for whom it is intended. brand new programs always have loopholes ready to be exploited by the people we elect, and one this large, with as little objection as it is likely to come into contact with, will be fucking rife with loopholes
