am i the only one who dresses up for court? i've gotten 6 tickets and only one's stuck (damn speed trap in that podunk town that's outside asheboro), and i've represented myself each time...i guess i just always figured the judge would be impressed that i looked nice while everyone else looked like they just rolled out of bed

also, i bring a book every time...i couldn't care less about all the other people in court, so why should i listen?

ok cool. and no, i am dressing up. i don't have a lot of experience going to court (only been once over 2 years ago in another county), but i figured that looking respectable and well-kept was the best way to go.

well i was only going to get it continued, hopefully by next month i can come up with 275 to get a new hood and get my windshield replaced so i can pass inspection

there were two reasons i got rid of my mustang - i drove too fast and the gas mileage was crap(pier)

ah, yeah, in that case i don't suppose dressing up really matters...but i always want to look nice when asking for the court's leniency...also, having a female judge has always worked out better in my case

i was only getting mine continued and i still dressed up


then again the one time i went to court before was in bladen co and i had to sit there for 4 hours and then talk to the judge just to get it continued
