It has a standard builtin wireless card. Nothing special.
And it's a celeron running vista.
You're gonna probably hate yourself 3 months after you buy that thing and find out there's no way to upgrade the processor. 11/7/2008 6:40:18 PM |

what? the processor has fuck-all to do with OS performance... this here is more likely to be an issue:

[Edited on November 7, 2008 at 6:46 PM. Reason : not necessarily with OS performance, but in general] 11/7/2008 6:45:51 PM |

800MHz supported, 1GHz recommended... and those are official numbers, I'm sure you could get away with 400MHz and enough memory. OS performance hasn't been particularly CPU bound in decades... did you have an actual point of substance, or is "oh lawd" the extent of your rebuttal? 11/7/2008 7:04:17 PM |

^^ yeah i know, early black friday is what i meant
and this is going to be mainly for school and browsing. i don't do any gaming or anything like that. i'm guessing its sufficient for that right? 11/7/2008 7:47:42 PM |

celeron is ancient, cant believe they're still selling stuff with that processor these days. you'd think it'd at least be pentium m/centrino...

I'm not going to sit here and argue with you on the internet if you cant tell the difference between pentium/core2 class processor and a celeron in day to day operating system tasks (with all other things equal).
Everyone knows Microsoft lowballs the requirements for their operating systems. Dont come in here and suggest that you could smoothly run Vista on an 800mhz processor if you want to be taken seriously.11/9/2008 12:03:05 PM |
