^ I will assist, since they can't play in the NCAAT until 2010, giving them an extra obstacle.

I wish Davidson had gotten some good player in their stretch run last year to commit, because I played against them and always thought they were alright. So I'll take Davidson, if that's cool.

Probably no one from the major conferences will run the table. If UNC doesn't win the national championship, they should be ashamed with all the players they have returning. Of course, this will make their eventual defeat even more satisfying.

Louisville and UConn have every major player returning as well... and both have higher ceiling guys who have more room for improvement from last year to this as well as high impact freshman. I think those are the Top 3 teams in the country without a doubt all else equal, though.

A co-worker of mine who went to UCONN doesn't think they should be ranked No. 2 in the country right now. He thinks they should be Top 15 or maybe even Top 10, but he thinks they could end up being the second best team in the country further in the year. He mentioned something about them losing some players or recruits and unsure how Price's rehab with that torn ACL in the tournament last year may affect chemistry. He knows a lot more about them than I do, but even I think that they aren't the second best team in the nation. I think they are Top 10, perhaps even Top 5 b/c of Kemba Walker, but I think there are some teams that have less uncertainty and overall are better. Could they be good, of course, but I wouldn't put them No. 2 in my poll.

I think a lot of people are underestimating how good Purdue will be this year. Yeah you can say hey the Big 10 sucks, but Purdue looks to have a lot going for them and I think they'll win the Big 10 this year.

They will likely play both Miami and Wisconsin this weekend. The Miami game has taken on a little added importance to the program I imagine as they beat out UConn for a highly touted SG recruit this afternoon... wouldn't surprise me to see a very good game...
