no, about 11 seasons too late. the first 2-3 seasons with the ORIGINAL cast were funny as hell. though most people have no idea who was on the original cast and think people like Sasso and Aries Spears were on it (it was Artie Lange, Phil LaMarr, Orlando Jones, David Herman, Nicole Sullivan, Bryan Callen, Debra Wilson, Craig Anton, Mary Scheer )

^^I agree. There was some pretty funny material in the first few seasons. A few of the later cast members (Will Sasso, Michael McDonald, Mary Scheer) were pretty funny too. After that it went to shit.

they were always very hit or miss, but then again so was snl. they just couldnt keep up and after the first 3-4 seasons, they began a long decent to the bottom. i cant remember the last time someone i know mentioned watching an episode of mad tv

I just started watching this. I never really watched before, just sporadically. First season is pretty decent so far! Always thought nicole sullivan was cute. Its weird to look back at mid 90's pop culture etc

^I never saw Michael Bolton in anything other than MadTV and Office Space, which is a shame since I think he was pretty good in both.

I saw Orlando Jones in a few movies. One was an comedy alien movie with David Duchovny, and the other was a drama about I think drummers in a marching band.

Nah ambiguously gay duo(steven colbert and someone else voicing) was snl, which i always thought was funny

Season 1 has some really great stuff...the steven segal george wallace sidney poitier thing was really funny. Like the recurring "lowered expectations" short things almost like jack handy...and some of the stuff i'm amazed on tv(like blood and guts type stuff)

S1e8(12-9-95) has a skit with a fake notorious big...weird cause he was still alive then. Michael Bolton dude is always like the best actor in every sketch
