Lately, my friends and I have been perfecting our own wings using a deep fryer. They're actually pretty fucking good, not dried out like Alton Brown would have you think. We do 12 minutes at 375 and have been experimenting with sauces. Frank's red hot and butter has been the tastiest thus far.
