The last one didn't turn out well. You might as well just leave son, the answer is no.

in durham, on roxboro rd, there's a mobil1 station that does inspections...some indian guy owns it

i have heard from friends that he will routinely pass just about anything that isn't emissions, but he might say you need new windshield wipers or something...i can't swear he will pass illegal tint, but i've heard he passes busted lights, driver-side windshield cracks, etc.

that doesnt matter. the window could be broken all over. as long as it doesnt cut up the wiper blades. it passes

umm, they arent stupid. most cars the back windows dont even go down all the way.

plus they'll see it on the other windows and be suspicious.

its not that hard to find a place....before I started going to the same place regularly, I'd just go to a garage and ask...if they don't actually start the inspection, they can't be a dick. I actually only ever had one place tell me they wouldn't pass it.

you are a moron. that only means it's illegal to ask for or take anything in exchange for doing any inspection, be it a legit pass, an illegal pass, or a fail. it has jack shit to do with telling a customer if their vehicle is going to pass or not and entering things into the computer.

in no way is it illegal to answer a question of whether or not you'll pass a car based on something being wrong with it. it only becomes a violation after you accept any form of payment OR you pass a vehicle knowing something is wrong with it/not following the correct inspection procedures.

umm, i think the Q at hand is whether or not you can ask the inspection officer if the car, in general, will pass inspection.. in that case it doesnt matter. hell even if it did matter and they had to run the test and it failed, you dont pay, so its his time wasted.

but maybe im lost i dont know.

but if you ask the guy to pass you on illegal tint, then yeah, cant do that
