So my gf and i were thinking of doing something fun for thanksgiving, like maybe going to asheville or log cabin weekend or biltmore or something like that. Anybody got any cool ideas for a weekend getaway that we could drive to?? Thanks

plan a trip to see your folks b/c you know they miss you. drive up thursday morning....maybe you guys could eat a nice dinner? maybe some turkey with all the fixings? then go shopping on friday morning.....but only the women of the family....all the men will pass around the pigskin amongst the dead leaves in the yard. men don't go shopping b/c that would be gay. then you can eat leftovers from thursday's dinner...maybe make turkey sandwiches and then....afterwards make love to your wife. afterall you didn't go shopping. so you aren't gay.

Go to Beaufort, stay here (http://www.anchoragehouse.net/), relax.

Another good choice is go up to Colonial Williamsburg. They should have all their Christmas decorations up and it's really beautiful. They do Thanksgiving dinners like the colonists supposedly ate, you can even stay in one of the houses in the colonial district if you wanted to.
