I tried googleing but did not find the answer.

Can you file claims for doctors visits and prescriptions that you have already paid cash for and get a refund from the insurance company? (I have had the same health insurance for 15 years)

you should be able to.. this happens a lot at our office. people will pay, and in the meantime insurance will be filed in hopes of a refund/credit.

You should be able to as long as you were active at the time of service. The md should be able to rerun the claims in office, but you may have to get it done through your insurance company for the pharmacy claims.

How did all that happen if you don't mind me asking?
