They have a cute girl's style on there, but I can't do sunglasses that wrap around. My eyelashes are too long.

they say on the site that if they catch you selling on ebay or somewhere else (by matching addresses or names) they can refuse to sell to you. Also I think it limits to a couple per household, but there are ways around everything

Yes, I would buy these but I bought some 2 hours ago... still contemplating for a backup

Whats the fascination in NC with those stupid North Face jackets?

I come home and see people wearing that shit out to the bars. You'd be liable to get your ass kicked wearing that shit out to a bar in a major city.

all these glasses are pretty ugly, and wearing a north face jacket in my neighborhood will probably get you clowned on.

Haha, what?

I wear my Northface fleece out sometimes when it's cold and I'm going to a sports bar or pub... If I'm going to a classier place and I'm more dressed up, I'll wear my pea coat.

Why would anyone get their ass kicked for wearing a brand coat in a major city?

Anyone foppish enough to be enraged by fashion to the point of wanting to kick someones ass is probably not much of a threat, unless they happen to have a study gentleman's cane with which to bludgeon you.

I was quoting part of Office Space with that "liable to get your ass kicked" part. Of course that's not serious. I still think it's funny to see people wearing fleece mountain jackets out to night spots, though.

This is more accurate:

I remember, years ago, when wearing a North Face jacket meant you were probably a rock climber or skier and had bought a jacket that was designed for the abuses of your sport. Now, apparently, it has become a fashion statement for the beer-chugging sedentaries over-burdened with their parent's money, which inevitably incurs the wrath of social pariahs with nothing to hate but anything popular. It's sad, really, but what's worse is the predictability of it all.

Oh. I just wear mine when I'm cold. But I have like 6 fleeces and only 1 is a northface. And I used to be more outdoorsy. So maybe I'm allowed to wear it??

But it is pink so I don't wear it a lot. I love it, but way to go me for picking a color that doesn't match like anything. Though it does look cute with my white snowboarding pants and white boots with green polka dots. But I can't even snowboard in just a fleece. Because I'm stupid and fall and would get wet

Yeah, that's pretty much me but without the sedentary part (I'm quite active when I have time). Actually, that isn't really true because I don't really care what people think about me for the most part. In my defense I used to wear it on the not-so-cold days when I go skiing.

But I got my new fleece vest/thermal long tee combo that works better now...

And I probably wouldn't care...

north face makes standard jackets and sells them at a pretty average price, they look decent most of the time

not to mention the fact that they are incredibly plain and do not call attention to the person wearing it, making it difficult for me to understand the hate here

at the people talking shit about northface jackets just to talk shit

those jackets are soft and warm

^^they used to make quality stuff- but when they got bought out by whatever new york fashion group it was(they have a magazine), they stopped with the high quality stuff

granted, it isn't shit, but it isn't nearly what it used to be

i mean, don't get me wrong, I still have a north face jacket, but if it came down to quality and piece of mind if I was out doors, I'd rather have my marmot or my mountain hardware

Am I missing something? Every time I've gone to this site, they've only had women's clothes featured. Is there a separate place for the guys gear?

if you like steepandcheep actually go to http://www.cheapandsteep.com/

This website has 4 windows (steepandcheap, Chain Love, Whiskey Militia, and Tramdock) Whiskey Militia is a website that offers a lot of surf discounts and snow (tramdock too). They have sick coats and watches (Nixon, Rip Curl) for pretty damn cheap
