a better console game of equal financial value that yields a greater output of fun per designated unit of time and is there for a more feasible purchase and investment of time than said game of lesser value in the eyes of the average consumer that drives the gaming industry which is based off the feedback and economic decisions made resulting in the production of games that better meet the consumer expectations and requirements in order to effectively compete with other game developers in the market therefore making more sales and revenue as a result that is used to cover financial costs and then make profit with the left over monetary gain which provides the incentive for success in this capitalistic system, this resulting incentive leads to a variety of games and genres of said games all of which compete within the video game market and in a matter of speaking natural selection takes effect as the better games sell more copies and as a result some games are left to collect dust upon the shelf of a local retailer as the consumer naturally invests in the better video game...
