(well, new to me)

'92 Jackson Performer PS-4

Went in to buy a new humbucker switch for my other 6-string and ended up leaving with a new guitar. Got it for 200, a fucking STEAL for this guitar.

It sounds as tight as it plays, and looks just as beautiful. Spent forever restringing it last night, it was strung at E standard and I tune to A# standard, so those of you with floyd-rose bridges will know my pain. I'll have to update the "my family" pic in my gallery I guess

anyway, don't mind me

yeah I love that little amp, great tone and works well for keeping noise to a minimum in my apartment (yes, LJM haha). I took that Ampeg powerhorse in that other picture to my practice studio where I can really crank it up and use it for what it was made for.

It's a Floyd-Rose bridge with the locking nut. As far as the H-S-H setup goes, I'm cool with it...I bought this to play metal with, meaning I'll be using the bridge pickup most of the time anyway. My other 6-string is S-S-H, but the first thing I'm gonna do for the Jackson is new pickups in which case I might switch to S-S-H. I'll probably keep it passive and wire in an afterburner, but I'm kinda scared to rout out some of the body. Might have a pro do that.

I'll just go ahead and suggest Caparison PH-R/F pickups. I'm in between getting like a Gibson or cheaper ESP Explorer next, but i really want a Caparison TAT so i can finally get a pair of Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the S-S-H
