My computer won't let me open it! Any way to change the file type or get a program that will allow me to view it?

What sort of filetype is .xlr? I know I've seen them and opened them before but I can't remember.

If it's just a spreadsheet... openoffice or ms excel should work just fine.

tell your boss to quit contributing to Microsoft's vendor lock-in and use open or at least compatible formats!11
