i have a bunch of old tshirts lying around, and i don't know what to do with them. they're either stained or torn up, so goodwill probably wouldn't want them.

i can keep a few for rags, but i'd hate to just throw the rest of them away. any suggestions?

Got pets? Shred them, and use for bedding.

Compost them.

shred the shit out of them (as thin as you can get the strips to be), and then put them in a pile outside. Birds will use them to make nests.

i do plan on using some for rags. but even after i take out enough for rags for the next couple years, i still have a boatload of shirts just sitting there useless.

as opposed to finding how i could use them, i guess i'm wondering if there may be any organizations that might want rag-worthy tshirts


and there are some souvenir shirts that people have given me over the years, some tshirts that people give out for participating in events. nothing really cool

sometimes if you donate to certain places, they still use the stained ones

this place urban ministries in gboro won't take the stained clothes for their clothing bank, but they ship them to india and africa for people there. so you could probably find someone to take them if you really wanted.
