I am looking for one for my mom for Christmas. I see a lot online in the 25 to 30 dollar price range but most have unfavorable reviews. I found a Foodsaver that's gonna be on sale tomorrow for around 55 bucks, but 75% of the reviews were bad. I really don't want to spend more than about $50 bucks. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, if someone has one of these, how much do you generally spend on bags for it, and how often? Thanks. 11/23/2008 2:29:39 PM |

[Edited on November 23, 2008 at 3:32 PM. Reason : actually, the rival vs107 seems to be ~50$ most places online and has good reviews on amazon] 11/23/2008 3:22:55 PM |

This is it:

I just dont want to have to deal with shipping it back if it ends up not working like the people who reviewed it. 11/23/2008 4:24:03 PM |

honestly, i wouldn't consider any of the people who reviewed it based on their other reviews, so idk
i liked the foodsaver we had, not really sure why my mother got rid of it--prolly better off ordering from the website of a regular retailer than off of amazon. seems to be easier to return that way. 11/23/2008 4:36:31 PM |
