I just had some Cookout last night (some cajun fries and a corndog after lots of liquor), but damn you people, I want it now. I've never had the steak style burger, but it sounds delicious (sans mayo).

I moved to an area that finally opened a Bojangle's in town after opining for it for 3 years.

Then they are opening ANOTHER one just down the street from me FINALLY, but I am moving in less than 30 days to Virginia.

I craved Bojangle's for the longest time and used to remember how I lived on $6/day when doing optimum planning for cost effectiveness.

So my suggestion is Bojangle's because I always have a nostalgic place for it in my heart and will always associate it with NCSU.

That was the time that having a four piece supreme and going back and watching TV and complaining about studying and playing Halo 1 will be irreplaceable.

My waistline unfortunately reflected Bojangle's, but so did everyone else's. I miss greasy food, cheap beer, and smoking girls in North Face Jackets on the bar balconies.

MAN I AM SO RUSTIC --- GIMME A BOJANGLES A BEER AND TWELVE GIRLS IN THE SAME NORTH FACE JACKET SMOKING CAMELS; POSSIBLY SOMEONE FROM JOHNSTON COUNTY IN DENIM CAN COME ALONG AND MAYBE SOMEONE IN AN NCSU JERSEY THEN LATER WE HAVE COOKOUT

you should try the spicy chicken cheddar style. it is my < 4 per year really bad day guilty pleasure [I do believe you can actually feel your arteries closing]... add in some heavily seasoned fries, hush puppies, Huge Sweet Tea, and Ken's Honey Mustard for no good reason-- amazing.

Harris Teeter sushi is something else I'd like to plug for.

Ignore the peeps who will heckle you for money at the front of the store between 2-3 AM. The 24 hr/day hours can't be beaten.

I saw the RPD use the parking lot as a staging area for some sort of force exercise one night too.

While I was buying my sushi at 1 AM, a bunch of cruisers came out of nowhere and convened. Officers started popping the trunks on their heavy chevies and donning all sort of beefed up gear with vests and shotguns. Perhaps it was an exercise or maybe they were about to conduct a big bust somewhere. Definitely one of the more random displays of force I've seen.

That kept the vagabonds away for a hot second.
