My mom wants this:

for Christmas, but I want to find it for the lowest price possible. I think IIRC, the lowest price I saw was 109.99 before shipping and handling, but I am hoping to find it for less than $100. I know that is only a 10 dollar difference, but every penny counts.

I was thinking that they might go on sale after Thanksgiving, but that isn't likely.

So help...please

country connection on hwy 70 between garner and clayton runs a good carhartt sale in late winter/early spring. hard to find winter carhartt stuff on sale in november and december and it'll be about the same price everywhere. should've planned ahead.

[Edited on November 23, 2008 at 9:14 PM. Reason : however, carolina apparel beside JR's in smithfield would be your best bet at catching a random deal]

you could always just not buy shit you don't need and buy the jacket for your mom, too.

pretty much all TSCs have carhartt, but their prices and selection usually always suck in my experience

FYI, I have been very tight with my money ever since I bought a home. I just want to make sure I am getting the best deal.

BTW, I am in Winston. So driving to Smithfield is not an option right now.

And I just found out about the coat from my mom today. She saw it in a TSC and told my sister that she liked it, and my sister told me.

ooooh! I like that too.

But I am looking for a kayak that's on sale as my Christmas present. That will be all for me, and that's perfectly fine.

Here's an idea:

See what websites you can find the jacket on, and then google something like

"____.com coupon code" or "_____.com promotional code"

That will bring up a lot of deal sites and you may come up with a code for like 20 bucks off or a percentage off of your purchase.

Also, if you go to slickdeals.net there is a forum called "Help me find a deal." You can post there and see if anyone has any advice. There are a lot of good deal hunters on that site.
