What did the dealer offer you?

2 years ago I sold a 2wd supercab 2001 F150 XLT with the 5.4L and towing package and only 60k miles for $9k... and this was before people no longer purchased trucks unless they absolutely needed them... At the time it was $2k below NADA value... but after 6months of being for sale and a round of insurance coming due on it I decided to offload it, broke even for what i owed so I was happy.

I would have been in the market for this truck if the economy hadn't soured so wretchedly... my hopes of a 2k5 SANTE went down the tubes when my world went from "should have a good stable job for a while" to "Holy crap I could get laid off anytime RIGHT after I start"...

regardless, best of luck getting anything near book value
