I used to use it, and it seemed to work but it could have just been a placebo effect. I have heard for it to work best you need to start it immediately after you start feeling sick. The nose swabs are best. The pulled them for a while because of some health risk, but I think they fixed that because the last time I was at the store they had them. The chewable things are like eating wax, and the mouth spray leaves a really gross taste in your mouth for a while, so I wouldn't recommend those.[Edited on November 29, 2008 at 4:54 PM. i use it, although i don't really believe its active ingredient (a zinc compound of some sort) actually does anything when applied around your nostrils - yes, it's naturally antibiotic... but come on.i use it because it actually does shorten the length of whatever cold/other virus i have... however psychosomatic that effect may beand it feels weird when you put that shit on your nostrils
