So I am peeling one and I get into the discussion with qntmken about how awesome they are and I would eat them all the time. He refuses to eat them because he claims that it is not worth eating. He says the return on investment is not sufficiently high. thats bananas...b-a-n-a-n-a-s!

My relatives in Texas have pomegranates growing in their yard....too cold here.
12/1/2008 3:52:21 PM
its not too cold in north carolina. my mom has a pomegranate bush that had a few pomegranates on it this year. they were pretty sour though, definitely not a commercial cultivar. the fruits are smaller too.

I can clean them pretty quickly. They're a great return on investment if you don't suck at taking them apart.

I was hoping it would use pomegranate schnapps. I have a bottle of it that I opened and think I've only used once. I am sure google could help me out though.[Edited on December 2, 2008 at 9:54 AM. Reason : plus it also has zero nutritional value!]
