Currently have a 1 line wireless account, no contract.

Would like to get in on a sweet phone deal by adding another line and canceling the current one.

Would that work?

If you dont have a contract you should be able to get any phone deal your carrier has if you sign a 2 year contract.

upgrading my line = no discount on the phone.

this way i MIGHT be able to get a $400 phone for free.

depends on if they would say anything about my canceling the 2 line plan after i got the phone.
