How about a section for all things NEWS, random stories, sometimes serious, just whatever is in the news..
b/c people complain way too often when someone posts a news story in a place that they don't think it should...
This would solve the problem..

So you're saying that we can submit news stories that don't have to do with NCSU to the frontpage? I had always guessed that it was for NCSU-related info only because that's almost always what the past items have been about.

This is the reason for the "My Topics" page- use it instead and you won't have to do any searching!

Anybody can submit anything to be posted on the front page....whether or not it appears (and how it appears) depends upon the Editors. Generally mostly stuff pertaining to TWW and NCSU/Raleigh get through but if something else seems to be important it will get posted.

If you include a good reason why it should be included, more than likely we'll notice and take it into consideration . Submit more stories!!!
