Sometimes I bring a cucumber and slice and seed it in here. I don't like it when people catch me doing that.

porn, music or movie on the left

Work in the middle

Usually work on the right, but sometimes more porn, music or another movie

Just finished throwing 50 pieces of paper into the garbage can 12 feet and 7 inches from my chair (yeah, i measured)

I went 39 for 50, 78 percent

Not bad, but not great

gotta get up into the mid 80's

I did have my fan on tho, so the wind could've played a factor

tww, work on non-work related projects (mostly freelance stuff), schoolwork, slickdeals/ben's bargains, drink tea, talk politics with my coworker, listen to music (mostly symphonic/operatic metal), plan dinner

i do work, now and then, but the instances of actual work are few and far between

welcome to the clusterfuck that is sales

You want to beat your quota, but not by too much, cuz then they raise it next quarter

So if you find yourself with 80 percent of your work done with only 40 percent of your time gone

You have a lot of fuck off time with which to work

i keep mine open...but no one can see my screen before i see them coming, so it's not a huge deal...also, i like to say hey to people as they walk around doing nothing, too

My screen faces away from the door so they can't see what's goin on

But I know exactly who is coming by the rustle of their footsteps, so the "oh shit"ometer is a fairly good warning system

When I don't have a particular deadline or something currently screwed up:

Listen to XM
Watch Netflix and adjust my queue
Bittorrent games, movies, and TV shows
Hit my 10 favorite websites (WWTDD, Orbitcast, Drudge, WRAL, TWW, Evilavatar, Autoblog, etc.)

My office is an entire mobile trailer, and I have 2 webcams that I can control, so I have them set to show both entrances and a screen dedicated just to this. 99% of the time I know exactly who is around.

More later, got a call to run.

Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.

Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

Wow.

So having a big girl/boy job means you don't actually have to do work?

Sweet.
