There's a girl on the computer, which for some god unknown reason has speakers. She's on some kid website with loud annoying ass sounds. She keeps saying to her mom, "mommy mommy the computer is too loud! How do I make it quiet!"

Mom finally snaps, "Just play your game," and proceeds to ignore her daughter.

I saw a kid at walmart the other day grab a pack of M&Ms and of course the mom say's that the kid can't have them. So what does the kid do? Hit her in the face with the bag then spit on her. Of course this convinces the mom to buy said M&Ms.

I have been a nanny for 7+ years. In that 7 years, I have only struck a child one time. And that child did something crazy life threatening stupid that he was too young to understand why he shouldn't do. I do not believe in spanking children unless there is no other recourse.

But good gosh darned, I have been known to stoically walk out of a store with a child firmly in tow as they pitch an unholy fit. The point in a child acting so ugly is attention -- positive or negative, they don't care -- so I just walk along without paying them the least bit of mind.

Yeah, in order to raise children the right way you don't go by innocent until proven guilty....they are guilty until proven innocent, but then you still discipline them, because even though they didn't do it this time, they probably got away with doing it before, so they still deserve it.
