anyone else watch it?

the cool kids used to watch it in middle school before anime was popular in america for creepy people who have never been outside and didn't have friends.

i'm suprised how not shitty it is for an anime.

This has been a big business presentation.

Have you seen the remake? they haven't made the ending yet, but here's hoping that they won't screw it up like they did to the original ending.

I watched a couple of episodes. I'm into more realistic depictions of Mecha (which is pretty rare in Anime).

An example is 08th MS Team

They actually use tactics, are concerned with repairs and ammo usage, and you don't have to wonder why they gave them legs if they spend all their time flying around in space anyway.

I don't even like most of the Gundam series. Especially the ones where you got one or two "special" mobile suits easily destroying like 2000 other ones with a sword while they fly around all nibly-bimbly in space.

And I'm gonna have to say Cowboy Bebop is my favorite.

^ cowboy bebop is excellent, except for a few inconsistencies in the earlier episodes.

yeah cowboy bebop was the shit, but honestly i can't remember what it was about except for that that it had a skinny dude with the pre-emo haircut and some orange chick who never had clothes on.

Spirited Away is a good one, too.

(movie for those who don't like to watch 10+ hours of anime)

I liked the original series and bought it.

Then somehow talked myself into buying the Platinum Edition.

I'm not buying it again with this whole Rebuild nonsense.

Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle? They seemed a little childish didn't they? I watched them though, and Laputa, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind or whatever it was. I don't remember what that guys name is that makes those, but I'm giving up on him. Or maybe I shouldn't watch anime..

But I'll probably download this since you made a thread about it, I just started watching Samurai X but it's only 4 episodes.

NGE is pretty badass, except for the times that the main character is emo... which is all the time. so anytime its focusing on any other character its badass

eh, i'm watching Ghost in the shell 2.0 right now and its weird, they went over certain parts in 3d but other parts are still 2d Maybe theres a higher message or point to doing that, but its not clear and kind of annoying so far...
