Vero Beach, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Vincent Gonzalez, a 22-year-old Vero Beach, Florida man was arrested after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend multiple times with a McDonald's cheeseburger.

Indian River County sheriff's deputies arrested Gonzales on a charge of battery domestic violence after a woman told them she was attacked by a boyfriend with a cheeseburger.

The woman told deputies that she and her boyfriend were sitting inside a car parked in front of their home, when the two began to argue. The victim told police she attempted to leave the vehicle, however Gonzalez would not allow her to leave, according to the arrest affidavit.

When the woman threw Gonzalez drink out the vehicle's window, Gonzalez allegedly became infuriated and forced a cheeseburger into the woman's face. The woman then got out of the vehicle - but was again met by Gonzalez who proceeded to shove the cheeseburger into the woman's face again.

Authorities arrested Gonzalez and booked him into the Indian River County Jail. He was ordered held on a $1,000 bond.

If he held the cheeseburger in his had, and slapped it against her face, then kept pushing her head back with it, I can see this as the type of assault that could cause contusions or a neck injury.
