Well, the last contest was a total bust. I never realized how damn lazy / disaffected people were here. But it's Christmas time, and I'm feeling generous, so here's another contest.

Two prizes, but only one winner. Up for grabs:

Fable II for the Xbox 360 and
Viva Pinata for the PC

Rules: You cannot resell these games. They have absolutely no retail value. I'll mail them anywhere in the continental US.

How to enter: Post a picture of your perfect Christmas. Creativity encouraged. Winner will be notified by PM next Wednesday (Dec 17th) and must respond by midnight PST that day with a mailing address.

For God:You do not have to take it yourself. You can get a picture from the interwebs, draw your own picture, photochop it, or use your own. Whatever your perfect christmas is. You can gift it to whomever you like, or have it mailed to whomever you like.
For cddweller: Please keep it SFW, you can use strategic photoshopping if you want to post something normally NSFW.
For BigBusiness: Got a girl I'm all about, this is just about spreading some good spirits for the holidays

Do we have to take it ourselves?

EDIT: I was talking about the photo. Does it have to be one we took ourselves?

First part is decent. The boston lager and winter lager are good but not spectacular (even though winter is my favorite seasonal). The creme stout is awesome and the holiday porter is pretty good but the old fezziwig (sp?) ale and the cranberry lambic are questionable at best. I'd rather just get a 6 of creme stout and call it a night

I took this photo on December 25, 2002 at 5:22pm, with a digital camera that I received as a gift that day. This is overlooking the living room. My mother and my stepfather are in there.

There are three other people there. Two of them are the parents of a longtime friend of mine. They were from England, and didn't really have anywhere else to go for Christmas.

The third gentleman, the man on the couch, was a man that I've known since I was about 5 years old. My family knew him when he lived in Michigan, and he moved down here to get a job at the same company my stepfather worked for. He was a very private person, and we were probably his only real friends in this area. He rose to great heights here in NC, and he once made over six figures as the vice president of a company. Him and I had a fight once, and we lost contact a few years ago. I heard third party that he was fired from the company he worked for, and he seemed to withdraw from those that knew him.

He killed himself on March 4th, 2008. I hadn't spoken to him since we had the argument.

I guess you could say, for me, Christmas is about appreciating what we have and what we can lose.
