Neb. 'Butt Bandit' gets 13 months in jail Mon Dec 8, 4:16 pm ETVALENTINE, Neb. – A man dubbed the "Butt Bandit" for making greasy imprints of his nether parts on windows in the north-central Nebraska city of Valentine has been sentenced to more than a year in jail. Cherry County Attorney Eric Scott says police caught 35-year-old Thomas Larvie in the act on Nov. 19.Scott says Larvie was sentenced Thursday to 13 1/2 months in jail after being convicted of eight misdemeanor counts of public indecency and one of disturbing the peace.Authorities said Larvie used lotion or petroleum jelly to make imprints of his naked behind — and sometimes his groin — on the windows of stores, churches and schools in Valentine beginning in the spring of 2007.Townspeople dubbed the vandal the "Butt Bandit" even though no theft was involved.[Edited on December 10, 2008 at 12:23 AM. I know several people that have gotten DUIs and never served a day in jail, people caught with dope and never went to jail, and they put this poor guy away for a year for making butt prints? The fucking judicial system is seriously fucked.

Truth^that is wack. I've known people to get multiple dui (or dwis) and never spent a night in jail. they were rich though...so
12/10/2008 1:10:29 AM
so? there's people that go to jail for drugs, etc. it's not like the police are treating druggies as lesser criminals than this guy.
12/10/2008 3:23:06 AM
haha this is a great idea

^^^^^^Snewf^^^^Lucky1^^^TheBulldozaWhatever.DUIs and dope are victimless crimes. You shouldn't go to jail for those, anyway. With either, you aren't intentionally or negligently doing anything actually wrong. You aren't harming anyone else. You are harming anyone else's property. This guy, with forethought and malice, intentionally committed a real crime in which he vandalized and/or damaged property. i may disagree with public indecency laws, but leaving messy piles of jelly smeared on by one's naked ass, ON CHURCHES AND SCHOOLS, is ok?No, I'm sorry. This fucktard got what he deserved. He is exactly the kind of loser that is making our country turn into shit. You can't just go around damaging property for fun. It is precisely the attitude that this guy has that is the problem. Anyone who thinks they can just go and have fun at the expense of someone else's person, property, liberty or right to the same, IS WRONG. Anyone that actually does, belongs in jail.13.5 months seem like too much? That's only about 50 days for each count of public indecency, not including the count of disturbing the peace. And hopefully, this sentence will send a message to others who seem to like the idea of leaving butt prints...(arcgreek?)[Edited on December 10, 2008 at 3:48 AM. Reason : ]
