Speaking of adding on, another reason weed should stay illegal:
Weed gives people munchies. This ups their caloric intake, and some don't compensate for this, contributing to the obesity epidemic.

So, keeping weed illegal is doing a little bit (not much, but some!) in slowing the rise of obesity rates.

I've never been all that impressed with weed, I prefer alcohol overall.

But there's really no reason for it to be illegal.
