it was 252 for a brief period as well. I moved to Greensboro in '88. Was in Raleigh/Cary/Apex from '96-'04. Back in Greensboro from '04-present.

I, too, lived there when it was 910, and before that when it was 919. That's taking it back Old School. West/southwest Greensboro 1983 to 1998. Parents are still there.

yeah, I remember it being 919 too. I think it was 252 in between 910 and 336. I remember it was really brief, and my parents were so pissed because the area code changed 3 times in like 2 years

Speaking of *336* where does one go to meet folks around here? I know there's Elon but I kinda feel old and creepy potentially hitting on 18 years old chicas.

uhh...i know a ton has changed since I moved to Raleigh.
Now I just visit for a day or two at a time at most.

The Raven is still there if I remember correctly and Alamance Crossing is relatively nice
Greensboro is less than half an hour away

your best bet is to come into Greensboro. The bars in Burlington are kind of lame, mostly an older crowd. All the younger people come to downtown greensboro.

although you are correct, there are some fine as women that go to Elon

^ and G'boro isn't really that far away. I live in an aparment complex behind Target/Best Buy (in Burlington) and it takes me 20 minutes, sometimes less, to get to where my wife works close to Four Seasons.

I live in NW Greensboro and I used to do a lot of work in Burlington. I could get from my house to downtown Burlington in 30 minutes. With gas as cheap as it is out that way (my boy in Mebane said he paid $1.44 yesterday), that's not much of a drive.

Has anyone been to the Hooters in Burlington? I have wanted to check it out but never got around to it. What's the talent like there?

I have been to it twice. Once was my birthday and the other was with the ex's family. There were some hotties in there but I couldn't imagine trying to pick any of them up seeing as they probably get hit on constantly. Their food is just too expensive for the quality for me to eat there more often. I usually just got to Chick-fil-a or Panchero's if I am eating out. Zacks is still my fave but it is across town and they only take cash.

I often wondered if a lot of the Elon hotties work there. I dated a Hooter's chick briefly. She was nuts. Best advice is don't do it.

I could date a girl working at Hooters is she was my girlfriend for a decent period of time prior to working there but I don't see myself being able to just woo a Hooters girl. You would think that they'd be pretty bored with being oogled over all day while at work. Now, if she was Japanese then I might have to make a solid attempt at working the mojo.

I didn't really woo this chick. She just gave me my receipt and it had her phone number on it. I thought I was the shit until I actually took her out and realized what a moron she was.

I think I would start out with something less advanced (keep in mind that I haven't had to try and meet new girls in six years) like the one cute girl I keep seeing at Target. I just can't think of enough things that I need to buy which would give me an excuse to potentially talk to her.

What type of chick are you looking for exactly? One that is a little older, has her own job, own money, own life, etc etc? Or a chick that still has roommates, loves to party, and only works part time because her daddy helps pay her rent?

I'm just trying to get a feel for what you are looking for so I can tell you which bars in Greensboro to hit up.

One that is a little older: maybe but not older than me.
has her own job: would be nice but still in school could work
own money: a plus. I don't want to have to provide everything
own life: yes. I need my WoW time occasionally.
chick that still has roommates: Nothing wrong with that I suppose
loves to party
only works part time: meh, if she is in school then it makes sense but I don't like freeloaders.
