it was a little brown on the edges and still pink in the mniddle so i figured if cooeked well done and covered with cheese it would be sanitraray

When it comes to pork products, you are probably fine. Brown just means oxidized, not spoiled. Same with beef and most red meats.

If your chicken starts turning brown, that's a bad thing. Same with pretty much all fish... once it is not its' normal color, toss it.
