Does anyone remember when they switched from the stickers with the big month/year digits to the ones we have now? I'm thinking it was sometime around '96 or '97. I found a photo of the older style dated 10/96. I think it'd be fun to put in a replica of a sticker from my car's model year, now that the inspection system is going electronic. 12/16/2008 4:01:03 PM |

raleighboy is always up to some shady shit
I remember back in the day, running out of numbers like "00" and cutting up two "10"s and using the zeros. I remember seeing guys punch out the wrong month or year on the new ones, and then digging through the trashcan to find the exact hole that was punched out, then carefully placing it back where it came from. 12/16/2008 5:01:48 PM |

I wouldn't call it shady, since the date would be '98. It's more of a nostalgia thing. I miss the late '90s. 12/17/2008 9:07:07 AM |
