I just bought a 2003 Toyota Avalon XL from a rich nice ole lady. Its got 114000 miles on it, but its in excellent condition. Its got leather, JBL sound system, all the extras. I talked her down to $6500.

Check KBB to see if it's a good deal or not. Seems like you got an OK deal. My friend just bought a 2002 XLS version with 87K miles for $6000, but he got a good deal though.
