So I've got this problem.
http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/engine-performance-1993-2001/260069-belt-squeal-when-turning-wheel-startup-help.html
Now that it's cold it's a ton times worse and pretty embarassing. Remember it doing it sometimes when i got it replaced but never this bad. Got it replaced from someone here on the wolfweb like a year ago. Can't remember who though. Any takers? Car newb here looking to get more life off this until I can get a new car.

you can try belt conditioner. it's never worked for me though. i've heard some people but a little vaseline on it. or you can just get a new belt 12/19/2008 2:22:21 PM |

need to assess the situation with the accessories, and check the belt tensioner (or adjust belt tension if the tensioner is not spring-loaded) 12/19/2008 2:32:14 PM |

ok so now i've got more problems. i was looking to see if i could do it myself but i'm in over my head. looked at where the belts were and what i could possibly tighten and i see coolant leaking from under somewhere. i had my radiator replaced not too long ago. what could the leaking be from? 1/3/2009 11:39:43 AM |

Or I am trying to regear to do side work. I do very good work, and my prices are reasonable. The catch is that I live out by RTP. If you're interested in having me look at the car, then send me a pm. 1/25/2009 11:52:40 PM |
