no really....

we're all but snowed in. it's not like we can run out and get a gift for him

should we just regift something? find something random around the house and give it to him? I think we have a puzzle we never did or something like that...

Nah, the smooth way out of this is to look in your cuppards or fridge and find something dank to cook. You and yours eat only half, the other goes in a covered dish to be sent over to the neighbors either tonight or early tomorrow. I suggest early tomorrow so as to not look weird. Problem avoided. Shake hands. Wink, wink, say no more.

in terms of personality/interests

from 0-10 (or another human example)

rate from Kurt Cobain (0) to Bill Gates (10)

not saying kurt=0 but just a range thing here...they are opposite ends of a spectrum

Tell him you'll house sit for him while he's gone. Then proceed to throw a massive party and trash the place

That'll teach him to give you presents unannounced again

Give him some coke. Cause, you know, you look like you'd have some.

If he's about to leave for the week, this buys you time.........

yeah, I do

it's too late now. His car is still there, so he's home. But he told me he's leaving tonight. He's probably taking a nap.
I know he's had a long day, because we basically went to work at the same time, and he got home after I did. He was probably up earlier than I was too because he has to get his son ready for school. He's driving to ill. tonight

[Edited on December 19, 2008 at 11:46 PM. Reason : I'll give him an award at work or something. He can redeem it for a prize at the company store.]

yeah, i figured it might be too late, and a lot of people don't bake. It's probably no big deal, people don't usually expect gifts from neighbors

[Edited on December 19, 2008 at 11:51 PM. Reason : note to self: run to neighbors car in the middle of the night and steal cookies]

Its funny that I mention greenville to you. A long time ago iwas readin tdub and you wrote a few lines about greenville. Something along the lines of it being a few shops and bars surrounded by miles of rednecks, trailers, and swamp

I salute you sir for that quote

Get gift.
Give it to him when he gets back.
Tell him you had ordered it and it hadn't arrived when he came by to give you yours. Be like "surprise!" I promise it will work. White people love surprise gifts.

The other thing you could do is rob half his house while he is gone and be like "I chased the robbers away before they could get everything." He'll be your BFF after that one and you get extra gifts.

lol, the guy that:
1) lives at home with his daddy
2) is less educated than I am
3) doesn't have a job and
4) will never make as much $$ as me

is telling me to act like the stereotype of a black guy that he imagines in his head

omg
