jacks links is good. i like that oberto stuff too.best is homemade deer jerky, but i rarely get it. i'm gonna buy a dehydrator one day.

For whatever reason I usually end up preferring the really dirt-cheap stuff. I got some short-run, off-brand shit at Big Lots that I think was named for a race car driver, and it was glorious.

Haha, I doubt it still exists. They probably had some leftover D-grade meat, and asked Cleetus the 4th string driver if he wanted to put his name on something. I doubt if it ever sold anywhere but Big Lots.

my buddy makes jerky that's fucking amazing, and his rig is elegantly simpleafter marinating/seasoning the sirloin strips he sandwiches them between two HVAC intake filters and tapes a box fan to each side so they pass air through it in the same direction...leaves it overnight and BAM!!! tender, succulent beef jerky that hasn't been processed to the point of losing that "beef" quality$1
