From what I remember 402 is a little more demanding than 322. I think the exams are harder to take in 402 because you have to get them done very quickly and the answers are a lot harder to find because you have 2 different books and the info is more spread out in the book than in 402 where you could just look in the index or whatever, find the subject and skim quickly. Other than that, the class was a breeze. I think exams had 30 questions, including long answers on NBC weapons that would take 10 minutes a question and you had 60 minutes to take the exam. I don't remember anything else about the class though, I took it maybe 4 semesters ago.

With that being said, both courses are very simple A+ courses if you're good at bullshitting. I honestly didn't read the books in 322 or 402 and still got an A+ in both classes since most of the crap is common sense and your discussions play a heavy part in the average.

had earnshaw a year ago for this course through DELTA. very easy A, we were required to post 3 times a week on separate days to emulate the classroom discussion environment. There were 2 or 3 open book multiple choice exams through vista, and one term paper at the end. Most of the coursework is completely subjective, I didn't spend much time reading the textbook @ all.
